Job Summary:
The Operations Area Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of warehouse operations. This key position is responsible for leading a team of warehouse associates in achieving exceptional customer satisfaction by delivering orders promptly and efficiently.

This leadership position requires strong management experience in manufacturing, production, or distribution environments. The successful candidate will possess a degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field, as well as expertise in managing a minimum of 15 employees, including payroll, performance management, and workflow assignment. Additionally, they will be expected to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within their team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of warehouse associates in meeting productivity requirements while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
- Partner with other Area Managers to optimize labor allocation and balance shift operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and lean initiatives
- Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure associate competence and confidence
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field
- Proven track record in managing a team of at least 15 employees, including payroll, performance management, and workflow assignment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, production, or distribution processes
