As an HR leader, you will execute recruitment and selection, employee relations, work life balance improvement projects, maximize partner morale, wage and benefit changes, safety improvements, training and development, labor/union relations, policy administration, and regulatory compliance related to employment. The Human Resources Supervisor will be part of a larger Human Resources & Operations team, who collaborate to meet business objectives.Role & Responsibilities:Recruit, hire and onboard new hiresRepresent Human Resources in cross-functional plant projects to ensure operations needs are metAdminister policies and make recommendations on procedural or policy improvement opportunitiesPerformance managementPartner (employee) relationsAdminister internal job transfers through all internal systems and local regulationsExecute and develop partner training training programsHR process improvementCollaborate with the HR leadership to lead partners and collaborate with the Operations and Commercial teams effectivelyWork with the HR Team Leader to implement staffing and work force planning initiativesCommunicate HR policies, compensation, benefits, and other HR initiatives to partnersCollaborate with HR and Operations leadership teams in order to improve standard policies, processes, and the overall partner experienceMaintain partner and position information in HR Systems including WorkdayKeep abreast of local regulatory and compliance changes and communicate to leadershipKey Ingredients:Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources or related field3+ years of experience in human resources is preferredLabor relations experience preferredTechnical expertise in human resources practices and proceduresStrong presentation skills, ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations in an engaging mannerAbility to work both independently and as a part of a larger teamDemonstrated ability to service customersAbility to solve problemsWell-developed analytical skillsForward thinkingAbility to evaluate the financial impact of various HR & labor practicesAbility to navigate Microsoft Office & aptitude to become an expert in Workday and other internal software systemsDemonstrated knowledge in local labor laws and regulations
