Boiler Room Supervisor - Chipboard / MDF Production Location: Brazil (Utradecor Operations) Travel Required: Frequent travel to production and project sites across North Africa, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan About the Role Key Responsibilities - Manage and coordinate the daily production and operational activities of the boiler room. - Ensure all boiler room equipment is operated safely and maintained in optimal working condition. - Conduct regular inspections of boilers, auxiliary equipment, and related systems. - Review and verify shift logs, operational records, and maintenance reports. - Participate in inspections, testing, and technical assessments of pressure vessels and boiler equipment. - Monitor boiler performance and implement measures to improve efficiency and reliability. - Maintain accurate records of fuel consumption, energy generation, and other technical and operational performance indicators. - Supervise boiler room personnel and ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks. - Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to resolve operational issues and minimize downtime. - Ensure compliance with industrial safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company policies. - Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and workplace safety. Requirements: - Higher technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. - Valid certification in industrial safety or boiler operation safety. - Strong knowledge of boiler systems, pressure equipment, steam generation, and utility operations. - Experience supervising technical or operational teams. - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work in a dynamic industrial environment and manage multiple priorities. - Willingness and ability to travel extensively to operational sites in North Africa, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan.
