Position: Human Resources Manager (HR)
Location: Mogi Mirim – SP
Reports to: Executive HR Director
Team under management: 5 to 6 HR Specialists/Generalists
Unit: Manufacturing plant with approximately 950 employees, responsible for producing shock absorbers for light and heavy vehicles.
Position Purpose
Act as a key member of the plant's management team, ensuring alignment between people, safety, and operational results. Responsible for driving engagement, performance, and organizational culture while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and standards.
Main Responsibilities
* Lead the local HR team, covering recruitment, payroll, training, and labor relations.
* Develop and execute talent planning and acquisition strategies, particularly for manufacturing and engineering functions.
* Ensure employee integration and retention through onboarding and recognition programs.
* Foster a positive and safe work environment focused on engagement and development.
* Mediate conflicts, conduct internal investigations, and ensure fair treatment in line with corporate policies.
* Ensure compliance with labor laws and union agreements, serving as the focal point for negotiations and labor relations.
* Implement and monitor performance evaluation and leadership development processes.
* Design and manage training and career development programs.
* Support senior leadership in cultural transformation, restructuring, and change management initiatives.
* Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) projects.
* Manage compensation, benefits, and payroll policies, ensuring compliance and market competitiveness.
* Develop and control the personnel budget in collaboration with other local leaders.
* Oversee HR audits and reports, ensuring adherence to internal and legal requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources Management, or related fields.
* 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
* Solid experience in an industrial environment with mandatory union interface.
* Practical knowledge in recruitment, training, development, and labor relations.
* Advanced verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
* Strong leadership, empathy, organizational, and results-oriented skills.
* Experience with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) will be considered a plus.
