This role supports seamless production, costs and logistics flows by coordinating the supply, movement, and return of dunnage throughout the supply chain.Essential Responsible Areas:Monitor and manage dunnage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess across multiple locations in South America.Coordinate with suppliers, production plants, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability and delivery of packaging materials.Develop and implement standard operating procedures for dunnage handling, return, and reuse.Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations regarding packaging materials.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, warehouse, planning) to align packaging strategies with production and delivery schedules.Analyze dunnage flow data and generate reports to identify improvements in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Oversee the maintenance and condition of reusable packaging to ensure quality and safety.Support sustainability initiatives by maximizing reuse and minimizing waste related to packaging.Supervise dunnage team, including hiring, training and performance management.Top 5 outcomes that role drives:Optimize Dunnage Flow across supply chainCost Reduction with strategic Inventory, supplier and customers return managementEnsure standardize processes and procedures with all stakeholdersService level performance to ensure dunnage sufficiencyData driven decision making and Operational VisibilityPosition Requirement and Competencies:Completed Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related field.Advanced or Fluent English is MandatoryIntermediate/Advanced Spanish is desirableExperience in People LeadershipExperience in MRP/Planning ProcessExperience in Distribution is desirableKonwledge of material requirements planningKnowledge of inventory managementKnowledge of costs managementKnowledge of Lean process is desirableSkills in data driven decision makingSkills in regulatory complianceBall Corporation is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
