Job Title: Tax Supervisor

Overview
The Tax Supervisor will support and oversee the preparation of tax reports to be filed before the local regulators on a timely and accurate basis. Will support on required reports for senior management and other internal stakeholders in line with applicable tax legislation and regulatory requirements. The Tax Supervisor will cover several areas of specialty within its function such as the Tax Provision, Tax Reporting, Tax Compliance, Tax Advisory and Tax Controversy. Will also cover those tax service roles with a focus on controls, setting standard and quality oversight. The Tax Supervisor will also assist in internal and external tax audits demanded by the Local tax authorities and regulators.

What You'll Do
* Be accountable to prepare, revise and deliver timely and accurate tax obligations;
* Interact with different stakeholders to ensure proper application of the tax legislation across de bank;
* Provide support in different roles of the area such as in the Tax Provision, Tax Reporting, Tax Compliance, Tax Advisory and Tax Controversy;
* Navigate and understand in full the tax related systems and their connection with different legacy systems across the bank.
Skills You'll Need
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or law;
* At least five years of experience in the tax area;
* Previous experience with tax related provision and compliance systems;
* Good analytical skills including critical thinking and issue-solving.
Skills That Will Help You Excel
* Good communication skills, both written and spoken;
* Certifications in the tax and accounting areas;
* Good interpersonal skills.
Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Brazil office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model which means 3 days per week.
