Lead a team of engineers in designing, building, and maintaining high‑quality, scalable, and resilient AI software solutions that support ESS’s GenAI and Analytics product portfolio. Apply engineering standards, cloud technologies, agile methodologies, and best‑practice development frameworks to ensure reliable delivery, improved productivity, and accelerated innovation. Deliver strong team leadership, technical direction, and operational excellence to achieve high performance, quality outcomes, and continuous improvement.
Lead a team of engineers to design, build, and deliver high‑quality, scalable AI software and platforms by applying established engineering standards, cloud technologies, and modern development frameworks, ensuring predictable delivery and reliable business outcomes.
Manage engineering priorities, sprint planning, and workload allocation using agile methodologies to maintain delivery momentum, meet roadmap commitments, and optimize team efficiency.
Promote engineering excellence by enforcing coding standards, test automation, code review practices, and performance engineering principles, resulting in improved quality, reduced defects, and higher team capability.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross‑functional stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and ensure alignment across teams, reducing rework and accelerating product delivery.
Oversee the stability, operability, and performance of production systems by monitoring SLAs, driving incident response and root‑cause analysis, and implementing preventive improvements that reduce downtime and recurring issues.
Ensure compliance with Experian’s security, privacy, and governance standards by applying architectural principles, enforcing secure‑by‑design practices, and partnering with Cyber Security and Cloud/Infrastructure teams to reduce operational and regulatory risk.
Provide people leadership by coaching engineers, conducting performance evaluations, supporting career development, and fostering an inclusive, supportive team culture that attracts and retains high‑performing talent.
Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes and improve tooling through automation and optimization, resulting in reduced manual effort, faster development cycles, and improved developer experience.
Contribute to the evolution of ESS’s technical strategy by championing modern engineering practices, supporting architectural improvements, and driving adoption of platform components that enable scalable, future‑ready solutions.
