Job Title: Operations Team Leader
Overview:
The Operations Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse in Guarulhos, Brazil.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure a safe working environment by monitoring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety conditions.
2. Lead the team, distributing tasks and assessing productivity, ensuring performance and behavioral feedback, and guiding staff on special customer standards.
3. Coordinate loading and unloading, providing support during loading, assessing vehicle conditions, assembling teams, guiding drivers, and supervising areas.
4. Maintain cleanliness and order in the workplace, organizing and cleaning the internal and external yard, reporting accidents and incidents according to safety procedures.
5. Monitor equipment availability (pallet trucks, RFTs, forklifts, etc.) and infrastructure (layout, identification, preventive maintenance, etc.).
6. Fulfill area documentation requirements and participate actively in inventory activities, ensuring safety briefings are conducted.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
2. Proven experience in managing people and operational teams, focusing on safety, quality, and productivity.
3. Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of leading direct and indirect teams, ensuring compliance with people management processes while disseminating company cultural principles.
4. Proficiency in using Excel, Word, PPT, and other office software.
5. Availability to work shifts in Guarulhos, São Paulo state.
