In this role, you will drive team performance, foster cross‑region collaboration, support technical direction, and promote operational excellence while enabling a strong, engaged, and scalable engineering organization. ️ Your key responsibilities Lead and develop a distributed technical team, ensuring alignment with global engineering standards and high‑quality delivery. Integrate newly hired engineers into existing US‑centric teams and workflows, including daily routines, communication practices, and time‑zone coordination. Establish and enhance delivery predictability, engineering quality, operational excellence, and cross‑region collaboration from day one. Navigate the early phase of the Brazil GDC initiative by contributing to process definition, job leveling, onboarding, hiring, and team expansion. Build local culture by promoting ownership, transparency, collaboration, and technical maturity. Support onboarding of new engineers while also completing your own integration into EMS. Provide technical direction across multiple disciplines (Software Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Security) and participate in architectural discussions. Collaborate with global stakeholders across Engineering, Product, Architecture, Security, and Service Delivery, as well as Brazil HR/TA. Ensure clarity, accountability, and continuous team evolution through metrics, best practices, and modern engineering standards.
