P&CS Admin Supervisor- Community (Band 4)
Please note: This is a Fixed-Term post until 31st March 2026
Hours to be worked over 5 days per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Primary & Community Services as part of an existing admin team as a Community Supervisor.
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individual who can work flexibly to supervise an admin team of secretaries, receptionists and ward clerks who work in health centres and community hospitals across NHS Borders.
The successful applicant will work in partnership and support leads and service managers to oversee processes such as appointment booking, staff training, rostering and absence cover. Supervisor will ensure admin staff feel supported, particularly when dealing with difficult members of the public.
We are keen to hear from people who are organised, approachable and willing to turn their hand to anything. As a Supervisor you have to think on your feet, can confidently communicate and problem solve when required too.
Applicants should possess excellent communication and organisational skills together with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel. Travel across the Borders may be required therefore a full, clean driving licence. Base to be confirmed.
