Sales Executive | Brazil
We are looking for a Sales Executive to drive new business development and expand market presence within the assigned territory. This role is highly focused on prospecting, relationship building, and delivering sustainable commercial growth aligned with company targets and policies.
The position combines strong hunting capability with structured portfolio management, ensuring both acquisition and retention of customers.
Role Purpose
The Sales Executive represents the company in the market, generating sales opportunities, developing new customers, and managing active accounts. The role is accountable for achieving budget targets while promoting the company’s image, values, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Prospecting
Actively prospect new customers, dedicating the majority of time to hunting activities.
Identify commercial opportunities, negotiate, and convert prospects into active clients.
Sell the company’s products and services, advising customers on transport solutions (Reefer, OOG, multimodal, etc.).
Develop structured action plans to achieve commercial targets.
Monitor lost business reports and take corrective actions.
Participate in commercial events and expand professional network within the territory.
Sales Execution & Performance Management
Manage weekly forecasts and budget follow-up.
Maintain accurate CRM updates, including visit reports and commercial activities.
Coordinate quotation requests with Sales Support and follow up on customer feedback.
Control BID agreements and ensure internal alignment during negotiations.
Contribute to service filling factors and explore spot opportunities.
Customer Relationship & Retention
Maintain close relationships with customers through regular visits and structured follow-ups.
Monitor customer performance statistics and propose corrective actions.
Support Finance in resolving disputes and priority outstanding payments.
Manage communication regarding service issues and recovery actions.
Cross-Functional Alignment
Maintain continuous alignment with Sales Support and Customer Service.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure service excellence and customer satisfaction..
Profile Requirements
Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade, or related fields.
Proven experience in sales within shipping, cabotage, transport, or logistics environments.
Advanced English.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
High resilience, self-motivation, and results-driven mindset.
