We are now looking for a Field Service Supervisor / Field Service Technician, Gas Solutions in Niterói/RJ, Brazil, to meet the growing regional and global demand. This position involves hands-on technical work, travelling to local and global field service missions on ships and platforms.

Responsibilities
Execute field service activities safely and cost-effectively, following Wärtsilä procedures and practices.
Perform troubleshooting, testing, fine-tuning, and adjustments related to equipment performance.
Perform complex repairs and overhauls independently.
Handle warranty and commissioning activities, delivering equipment to customers or shipyards.
Report progress and status of work, participate in pre and post-mission briefings, and create Service Work Reports.
Organize time and expense reports, and communicate with administrative personnel.
Adhere to Wärtsilä's Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines and customer procedures.
Issue WeCare and Non-Conformance Reports to facilitate lessons learned.
Conduct client surveys post-job completion.
Supervise Wärtsilä employees and subcontractors’ tasks.
Promote Wärtsilä products and solutions to customers.
Participate in other departmental tasks as directed by your line manager.
Requirements
BSc in Engineering or Technical Diploma (Process, Automation, Electronic, or Electrical).
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
Good computer skills.
Relevant hands-on experience in process and electrical disciplines within LPG/LNG/VOC/IG and Flare Gas systems is advantageous.
