We're looking for a Tour Guide to be our RioLIVE Supervisor — someone organized, lively, and passionate about sharing the real Rio with our students. What you'll do:Plan and coordinate RioLIVE activities that connect language, culture, and fun.Act as a Tour Guide during RioLIVE activities, leading students through Rio's main spots and hidden gems.Teach Portuguese following Rio & Learn's methodology.Engage students in Portuguese learning through our fun and interactive method — both during RioLIVE activities and classroom sessions.Guide and accompany students during activities, making sure everyone feels included and safe.Train and coach other teachers to lead RioLIVE activities independently, following Rio & Learn's methodology.Oversee the quality of RioLIVE activities led by other teachers, ensuring consistency in methodology and student experience, even when you are not on site.Manage logistics: locations, times, materials, and any small miracles needed to make things run smoothly.Represent Rio & Learn with enthusiasm and professionalism — be the bridge between our students and the soul of Rio.Track attendance, feedback, and results, helping us improve every week.Qualifications & Skills. What we expect from you:Native Portuguese speaker (mandatory).Advanced or fluent English, with confident oral communication — you'll speak with international students daily.Bachelor's degree in Education, Tourism, Communication, or related fields.Valid Tourism license and driver's license (B category) — both are required for this position, as you'll lead tours and transport students during cultural activities.Previous experience as a tour guide, group leader, or working with tourism and cultural activities is a strong plus.Strong sense of organization and leadership, with energy to handle multiple tasks and groups.Genuine passion for Brazilian culture and the city of Rio de Janeiro.Positive attitude, creativity, and real commitment to students' experience.This role includes late-night and weekend activities (such as night tours or special events) as part of your regular schedule.Comfortable using Google tools (Docs, Sheets, and Slides) for daily tasks.44-hour work week (full-time CLT position).Energy, friendliness, and passion for teaching and welcoming people from all over the world.
