We are now looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Niteroi/RJ, Brasil.Accountabilities On time handling of inbound goodsOn time handling of outbound shipmentsOn time handling and accuracy of inventory stockOn time handling of admin tasksStakeholder management at location of supervisionCompliant to local Workplace Health, Safety and Environmental regulationsMain Responsibilities: Supervise and if required take the lead to coordinate day to day activities as required at location of supervisionPlan and ensure capacity in warehousing (short term)Stakeholder management at the location of supervising, including but not limited to internal and external customers and vendors, Real Estate,Inbound activities: Receive, count and stock material.Outbound activities: pick, pack and ship items.Operate forklifts and hand/power tools safely.Loading / unloading trucks.Loading / unloading of containerHandle production ordersVisual inspection of goods inbound / outbound / returns / claims for damage and discrepanciesCycle counting of inventory according to requirements.Maintain records in timely order in tools and programs as required by stakeholders.Maintain warehouse supplies and tools.General housekeeping of warehouse area.Supporting in handling local transportation requests.Communication with internal stakeholders and transportation companies, both verbally and in written.Coach relevant stakeholdersInitiate problem solving when requiredAdmin tasks as required such as documentation and reports requiredS1-handling, 24/7 (on-call duty)Train new warehouse associatesSubstituting Manager when requiredOther warehouse duties as needed and requested by line managerCaring out duties in a safe way, being able to make risk assessments.Serving the customers in an optimal way, providing best services availableQualifications and skills required: BSc in Logistics, Engineering or equivalent).
Solid experience within Logistics, Warehousing, Inventory Management or Supply chain managementForklift certified.Safety awarenessGood knowledge in LeadershipGood knowledge in Change ManagementPresentation skillsGood knowledge from ERPs such as SAP and Navision ERP related to warehouse and inventory managementGood knowledge in Incoterms and Transportation methodsExcellent skills in Export documentation, customs procedure and dangerous goods handlingGood knowledge in computer software programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
