Job Description
Responsible for supporting customers through on-site activities such as installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair of company and multi-vendor systems solutions, which may include hardware, software, networking products, and operating systems.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Installing and optimizing hardware, software, and network products at customer sites.
2. Diagnosing and resolving product performance issues.
3. Performing maintenance and repair services.
4. Advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations to enhance product performance.
5. Proactively addressing potential equipment or software issues to prevent business disruptions.
6. Delivering fully integrated solutions, including peripherals, communications, operating systems, and applications software.
7. Serving as an internal technical resource and managing product escalations.
8. Collaborating with teams such as Support, Sales, Marketing, and R&D to provide customer solutions.
9. Possibly training other engineers or customers, and calibrating equipment on-site for large customers.
10. Qualifying leads and obtaining necessary credentials for customer site access.
Qualifications
* Technical high school diploma in Chemistry, Electronics, or Environmental Sciences.
* Post-graduate degree, certification, or license is desirable.
* Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in atomic and/or molecular spectroscopy.
* Proficiency in English (speaking and reading).
* Availability to travel up to 75%.
* Valid driver's license.
