The main goal for the Medical Lead is to develop the Franchise Medical Strategy and execute it through an operational Medical Plan for the Rheumatology business.
About the RoleMajor accountabilities: To develop the Franchise strategy aligned with business priorities and execute it through an operational Franchise Medical Plan;Lead the cross-functional Franchise Medical Team to ensure optimal collaboration within the country and Global Teams;Strategically influence and collaborate with senior leaders of different functions and other external relevant partners to support the Medical Product plans, clinical development, scientific communications, and medical expert engagement plans;Maintain and drive the standards of medical and scientific excellence in the country Franchise through technical development of associates;Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt;Academic graduation in a biological/medical area;Previous experience in the rheumatology business or excellent knowledge of this medical field;Great communication in English and Portuguese (both written and spoken).Why Novartis: Helping people with disease and their families takes more than innovative science.
