The ideal candidate will have proven experience or education in public relations or communications, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and time management abilities, and proficiency in Google Suite and media monitoring tools.
The Public Relations Account Manager will be responsible for managing client PR campaigns by developing strategic plans tailored to each client's needs, conducting targeted outreach, and maintaining regular communication with clients and media contacts.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing strategic PR plans tailored to each client
* Serving as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
* Buolding, growing, and creating new client relationships
* Conducting media research and building targeted media lists
* Securing, filtering, and responding to media opportunities
* Scheduling and coordinating media interviews
* Following up with media contacts to confirm placements and coverage timelines
* Monitoring coverage through Google Alerts
* Facilitating writing projects with the team
* Monitoring news trends and identifying timely angles for client exposure
* Providing daily client updates and maintaining consistent communication
* Preparing and sending biweekly and monthly reports
