Role Overview
We are hiring a Junior Project Manager.
Our mission is to streamline and accelerate the adoption of open source across the global enterprise technology market.
Our Project Managers ensure project success by owning, driving, communicating, and engaging all stakeholders with integrity and accountability.
Responsibilities
Ensure programs and projects are delivered within schedule, scope, cost, and resources.
Identify key technical and project risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Maintain strong customer focus and collaborate with stakeholders for successful outcomes.
Conduct regular status meetings and business reviews with customers.
Support delivery schedules of third-party deliverables.
Advocate for Canonical's technologies to customers.
Candidate Profile
Strong academic background in science, software engineering, or IT.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Solution-oriented mindset, leadership experience, and a professional approach.
Academic excellence from high school and university; technical degree or compelling alternative.
Confidence in speaking up, sharing feedback, and ideas.
Passion for technology demonstrated through personal projects.
Strong work ethic, interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
Appreciation for diversity and ability to work in multicultural teams.
Self-motivated, thoughtful, and result-driven.
Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for up to two weeks.
