Senior Technical Expert
We are seeking a seasoned technical expert to serve as the primary strategic partner for our most complex and high-value accounts.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Act as the primary technical advocate for a portfolio of strategic clients, building deep, long-term relationships from the engineer level to the C-suite.
o Develop unparalleled technical mastery of both the platform and the client's specific, complex technical ecosystem.
o Lead complex diagnostic sessions, using elite listening skills to identify the root cause of technical challenges, not just the symptoms.
o Architect, design, and co-develop novel solutions to solve unique client challenges, turning ambitious ideas into reality.
o Move beyond reactive support by proactively analyzing client systems, anticipating future needs, and developing a strategic technical roadmap for long-term success.
o Build and maintain deep trust through patience, empathy, and savvy political navigation of complex client organizations.
o Identify and scope new expansion opportunities from your position of trust, demonstrating how RapidSOS can deliver further value to grow the account.
o Serve as the client's technical advocate within RapidSOS, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and other internal teams to ensure their needs are met and their voice is heard.
What We're Looking For in Our Ideal Candidate:
1. Technical Background: At least 5+ years of relevant experience in an engineering role with at least 3+ of those years in a technical customer-facing role.
2. Pre-sales Experience: Selling complex API-based products or SaaS products including technical discovery, presenting demos, etc.
3. Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with a cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure) in a SaaS environment.
4. Marathon Runner and a Strategist: You are patient, proactive, and motivated by the long-term pursuit of solving complex, deep challenges. You value building trusted, enduring relationships over quick wins.
