Commodities Asset Class Onboarding Expert
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Commodities Asset Class Onboarding Expert to support the onboarding of Commodities Assets to our Equity Derivatives Trading desk.
Key Responsibilities:
* Resolve daily functional, valuation, and pricing issues in the Front Office environment.
* Support the trading desk in resolving daily issues related to Equity Derivatives.
* Work closely with traders to ensure seamless execution of trades.
* Amend pre-trade rules, eTradePad simulations, and resolve requests or issues with Profit & Loss, Market Data, and booking.
* Analyze, formulate, propose, and develop solutions for production support deliverables.
* Liaise with technical teams to resolve Front Office-related issues and enhancements.
* Manage day-to-day project tasks to complete Front Office deliverables.
* Validate and assign yield curves, create new curves, and follow up on market regulations and practices globally.
* Perform testing for assigned deliverables and participate in formal release cycles.
* Develop business requirements for the Front Office per given stream and according to project needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong product knowledge in Equity Derivatives and Commodities.
* Very strong understanding of FX, IRD business.
* Very strong understanding of P&L concept overall and its components.
* Very strong understanding and hands-on experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, Trade Life Cycle.
* Strong experience in supporting users and resolving their daily issues.
* 5+ years experience with Front Office functionalities.
* 4+ years experience in financial markets roles.
* SQL proficiency.
* Strong personality, logical, and analytical skills.
* Detail-oriented, quick learner, self-starter.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organization skills.
