What you'll do: PRIMARY FUNCTION: Manage Quality Engineering team and its activities including customer support, manufacturing process development participation and its approval, deploy customer specific requirements, deploy Quality Management Systems in their Business Units, support customer audits and third-party audits, quality metrics management, corrective actions, CONC reduction planning in their BUs, participate in Excellence Model deployment. This position is also responsible for managing Metrology and Metallurgical lab areas, monitoring performance and conformance of all quality equipment in production and correlated activities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: A. Achieve Scrap, CONC and ZMPD targets; B. Develop and maintain Organizational Capability in Quality Engineering; C. Improve and maintain Customer Satisfaction, which is measured through CRR process; D. Assure Quality Management System accomplishment in their BU, which is measured through internal and third-party audits. E. Lead corrective actions and continuous quality improvement; F. Plan for process improvement, variation reduction and maintain and improve process capability; G. Assure quality controls and records; H. Assure product overall quality related to manufacturing process; I. Coordinate products fail analysis, corrective actions and feedback to customers; J. Responsible for Quality System and Critical Analysis management; K. Support Business Excellence initiatives in its Business Units. M. Manage Metrology and Metallurgical areas. N. Guarantee performance and conformity of quality equipment in the Plant. O. Lead internal and external System Audits and assure success. Qualifications: Education and Skills required to meet position qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Mechatronics or Automation), provided a solid career in Quality. Professional Experience - Strong hands-on experience in manufacturing environments is mandatory. - Proven experience with quality tools, including: SPC (CEP), FMEA, 8D, PPAP, ELSS. - Strong background in structured problem-solving techniques. - Experience with Quality Management Systems. - Knowledge with ISO/TS 16949 (or IATF 16949) are required. - Intermediate English level (written and spoken) is required, due to frequent interaction with Product Engineering in Italy and recurring meetings with China. (Advanced is a plus) - Data analysis skills, including Excel and/or Power BI, to support presentations to customers and leadership. Desirable - CQE - Certified Quality Engineer. Interpersonal Skills - Strong leadership. - High resilience. - Effective communication skills, particularly when dealing with customers. - Strong conflict resolution capability, especially in cross-functional environments. - Excellent problem-solving ability. - Managerial courage and intellectual rigor to drive decisions and improvements.
