Audio Content Specialist
This remote role involves editing podcast audio files, enhancing sound quality, implementing sound design, adding music, and ensuring overall quality control for each episode.
* Edit raw podcast audio into polished, broadcast-ready episodes.
* Remove filler words, false starts, redundancies, and off-topic tangents.
* Improve pacing, clarity, and flow without changing the speaker's voice or intent.
* Restructure sections when needed based on how questions were answered.
* Insert intro/outro, sponsor reads, disclaimers, or updates when required.
* Follow embedded audio notes and written instructions carefully.
* Deliver clean final WAV/MP3 files on deadline.
* Produce short clips per episode for marketing use.
* Support up to two rounds of edits per episode when requested.
We are looking for someone with proven experience editing long-form podcasts (interview or narrative style), strong editorial judgment, excellent attention to detail, comfort working with physician and expert-level conversations, fast reliable turnaround times, clear professional communication, and familiarity with tools like Descript, Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Logic, or similar.
