Before you read further: this is NOT an FP&A, Treasury, Controller, corporate credit, or FIDC role. If your background is primarily in those areas, this position is a different discipline and will likely not be a good fit.
Our US fintech client — an online consumer lender — is looking for a Credit Risk Analyst who owns the front end of the credit funnel: designing risk tiers, sequencing underwriting decisions, managing approval/decline trade-offs, and building the logic that determines who gets credit and at what terms. If you have hands-on experience with risk tiers, underwriting decision paths, dynamic acquisition pricing, or rescue lane strategies at an online lender, BNPL provider, or fintech — this role is built for you

Segment applicants by acquisition channel, product, and risk tier — and price accordingly

Work cross-functionally with US product and marketing teams to balance growth and risk
Write SQL to investigate, model, and monitor — no waiting on a data team

In your last role: were the majority of credit decisions made automatically, within seconds, for individual consumers (not companies)? If yes — we'd like to talk. If your process involved credit committees, manual case-by-case review, or business borrowers — this is a different kind of role, and it's worth being honest about that upfront.
