Overview of the role
The QA Engineer (Automation) position focuses on designing and implementing automated testing solutions to ensure software quality at scale. This role involves building test frameworks, creating automated test suites, and collaborating with development teams in an Agile environment while integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and continuously improving test coverage and automation processes.
Key responsibilities
- Designing and developing automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications.
- Building and maintaining test automation frameworks using modern tools and technologies.
- Collaborating with developers and QA teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects to ensure timely resolution.
- Analyzing test results and providing detailed reports on quality metrics.
- Continuously improving test coverage and automation processes.
Requirements
- QA Automation Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation and software testing.
- Automation Tools: Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Programming Languages: Experience with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- CI/CD and Version Control: Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems.
- Agile Methodologies: Understanding of Agile methodologies and testing best practices.
- Language Proficiency: Advanced level of English.
