Business Analyst – Brazil Analytics Center of Excellence, Global Finance Services Division
Deliver timely, accurate, and insightful financial analysis and reporting to support critical business processes and drive data‑driven decisions across the organization.
Job Summary
We are looking for a talented Business Analyst to join the Brazil Analytics Center of Excellence within Caterpillar's Global Finance Services Division. In this role, you will provide financial insights that enhance operational efficiency.
What You Will Do
* Support a wide range of accounting activities performed at the Analytics Center of Excellence.
* Prime product and/or component cost monitoring & analysis.
* Standard Cost Revision (SCR) and current cost grief resolution.
* Capital Management: Capital expenditure forecasting and reporting.
* Financial Analysis: compile accounting data, review input, advise internal customers on cost accuracy, generate reports, and provide commentary to leadership.
* Support medium‑to‑high complexity strategic decisions by conducting financial analyses for projects and cost‑reduction programs, and comparative studies on machine/component competitiveness.
* Support improvement projects and initiatives related to Caterpillar's strategic business and communicate with global teams.
* Provide financial recommendations to global teams through economic feasibility studies, including discounted cash flow, IRR, OPACC, and risk/sensitivity analysis.

Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
* Pre‑advanced English.
Top Candidates Will Have
* Previous experience in financial analysis, cost, capital, or FP&A activities.
* Proven experience with analytical and automation tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Python).
* Experience leading process improvement initiatives and projects.
* Project leadership / Black Belt certification.
* MBA, Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or similar.
* Advanced / Fluent English.
Location and Working Conditions
This position requires the candidate to work on‑site five days a week.
