We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Founding Product Designer to join our team in shaping the core product experience. This is a unique opportunity to have direct influence over user experience and product decisions, working closely with real users to solve meaningful problems in patient care.
About the Role
* Collaborate directly with founding clinicians to understand their workflow, pain points, and goals.
* Translate early concepts and requirements into user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
* Lead founders through the end-to-end product design process - from research through prototyping.
* Iterate designs based on feedback from medical professionals and internal stakeholders.
* Build the design foundation for future product development, including design systems and component libraries.
* Communicate design rationale clearly to both non-technical founders and technical teams.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in UX/UI or product design, with a strong portfolio of interactive web/mobile prototypes.
* Demonstrated ability to translate abstract or clinical problems into elegant design solutions.
* Proficiency with advanced prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Origami, etc.).
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills, especially with non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong ownership mentality - you'll be the only designer and an early voice in product direction.

* Having engineering experience developing SaaS applications.
* Having engineering/product leadership experience.
* Knowledge of design for communication tools or messaging apps.
* Experience working with healthcare-related platforms.
* Experience working with early-stage startups.
* Familiarity with US-based HIPAA regulations and health tech security standards.
