As a Technical Sales Specialist, you'll build strong relationships with industry leaders and accelerate revenue growth in cutting-edge genomic and automation technologies.
* Sales Growth and Strategy:
* Develop strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets in your territory
* Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities for MGI's products and solutions
* Customer Engagement and Support:
* Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, customers, and industry stakeholders
* Provide pre-sales consultation and post-sales support to ensure customers achieve optimal results with MGI products
* Technical Expertise and Education:
* Deliver technical presentations, seminars, and workshops to educate customers on product capabilities and applications
* Collaborate with Field Application Scientists, product managers, and R&D to provide comprehensive technical and promotional support
* Market Intelligence:
* Gather and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform product development and sales strategies
* Contribute to marketing efforts through trade shows, vendor events, and other promotional activities
* Reporting and Administration:
* Maintain accurate CRM records, prepare sales forecasts, and provide regular activity reports
* Monitor sales metrics to evaluate performance and adjust strategies as needed

5+ years of successful sales experience in life sciences, genomics, or related fields. Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals and develop long-term customer relationships.
