Working Hours
Full time – 37.5 hours per week. Mon to Fri 7.5 hours per day between 08:00 and 18:00 to meet operational needs.

Salary – up to £30,000 depending on experience & skills, plus Serco benefits.

Responsibilities
* Ensure all requested repairs, reactive or proactive, are carried out to required standard and within SLA deadlines.
* Maintain health & safety of yourself and users of the property during and after works.
* Purchase and manage materials using a company account card from approved Serco suppliers only.
* Keep vehicles inspected regularly and maintained in a professional, clean condition.
Work Patterns & On‑Call Requirements
* Flexible working pattern: Mon to Fri 7.5 hrs per day between 08:00–18:00.
* On–call duties on a rota basis; work out of hours every 8–10 weeks for emergencies to provide 24/7 emergency cover.
Minimum Requirements
* Full UK driving licence must be held.
* Previous maintenance experience in joinery, fitting, plumbing, painting & decorating etc. preferred.
* Willingness and ability to travel within the region and occasionally within the UK.
* Security clearance checks and approval by the Home Office are required.
