About this Project Management Role
The best insights have a pulse. We are looking for a bilingual (Portuguese/English) project management professional with a solid technical toolkit and on-the-ground research experience to lead a fast-moving automotive UX study in São Paulo.
We're seeking a detail-oriented individual who can orchestrate day-to-day study operations, assist in moderating in-vehicle research sessions with local drivers, and provide light device/IT support to ensure everything runs smoothly.
High performers may receive a full-time offer when the project wraps.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and own the project plan—timelines, budget, participant milestones—working closely with the Ops Manager and UX Research Lead.
* Run stand-ups with distributed teammates (US, Brazil, India).
* Moderate ~2 weeks of in-vehicle sessions in São Paulo, guiding participants through tasks and capturing high-quality data.
* Translate consent forms, short surveys, and session notes between Portuguese and English.
* Prep, track, and recover equipment used to execute the study.
* Troubleshoot participant hardware, connectivity, and account issues; escalate edge-case bugs to engineering via documentation.
* Document and iterate on SOPs, and data ingestion for future Brazil-based studies.
Basic Qualifications:
* Residence/Work Authorization: Based in the greater São Paulo area; legally authorized to work as an independent contractor in Brazil.
* Language: Native-level Portuguese and professional-level English (spoken & written).
* Experience: 3+ years in project coordination, research operations, UX research, or similar.
* Comfort diagnosing common hardware/connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, Android/iOS devices, Bluetooth peripherals).
* Tools: Google Workspace, project-management suite (Asana/JIRA), basic spreadsheets; willingness to learn our proprietary research platform.
* Soft Skills: Exceptional organization, proactive communication, unflappable in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
Preferred Extras:
* Prior automotive or in-vehicle research experience.
* Prior team management or project coordination experience.
Contract Details:
* Term: 3 months (~40 hrs/week).
* Hybrid: Remote most days; up to 2 weeks of on-site fieldwork.
* Compensation: Competitive monthly contractor rate in BRL, based on experience.
Conversion Path: Strong performance may lead to an offer for a permanent role on the UX Operations team.
