Job Title: Apparel Graphic Designer for Branded Merchandise & Uniform Programs Job Type: Freelance / Contract (Ongoing Opportunity) Work Hours: Flexible (project-based turnaround, typically 24–72 hours per project) Job Overview: Our client is a growing company specializing in branded merchandise and uniform programs for large national brands. They partner with businesses to deliver high-quality, retail-ready apparel solutions that strengthen brand identity across uniforms and merchandise. We’re looking for an Apparel Graphic Designer to support ongoing design production work, creating clean, brand-aligned apparel graphics and production-ready artwork for a variety of garments including t-shirts, outerwear, headwear, and uniforms. In this role, you will: Translate brand guidelines into apparel-ready design concepts Produce production-ready artwork for manufacturing Support fast-turn creative needs for client presentations Ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy across all design outputs RESPONSIBILITIES Create apparel design layouts based on client briefs and brand guidelines Develop logo placements and embellishment concepts (screen print, embroidery, patches, etc.) Prepare production-ready artwork including vector files, separations, and sizing specifications Create mockups of apparel designs for client presentations Revise and refine designs based on internal and client feedback Maintain organized files, version control, and production documentation Support fast-turn concept development for sales and client presentations Requirements Must-Have: 3 years experience in apparel graphic design or merchandise design Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop Experience creating production-ready artwork for apparel (vector files, print specs, etc.) Strong understanding of apparel decoration methods (screen printing, embroidery, heat transfer, etc.) Ability to interpret brand guidelines into clean, retail-ready designs Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines (24–72 hour turnaround) Portfolio showcasing apparel or merchandise design work Nice-to-Have: Experience designing for retail, restaurant, or consumer brands Familiarity with tech packs or apparel production specifications Experience creating designs for uniform programs or branded merchandise at scale Experience working with U.S.-based clients, agencies, or production teams
