We are currently looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong Java and SAP Commerce Cloud experience to join an international e-commerce project within the beauty and professional haircare industry. This is a short-term engagement with high impact, working on a modern digital commerce ecosystem supporting a globally recognized premium brand.
You will join a multidisciplinary team responsible for developing and optimizing backend services that power large-scale e-commerce platforms. The project focuses on scalability, performance, and integration within a microservices-based architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services within SAP Commerce Cloud environments
- Build scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Contribute to architecture decisions and propose optimal technical solutions
- Work closely with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies
- Ensure high-quality code through testing, CI/CD pipelines and best development practices
- Support integration across the e-commerce ecosystem and backend platforms

Requirements
- Strong backend development experience with Java

- Familiarity with Agile development and SDLC practices
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
