We're on the lookout for a Test Automation Engineer with Android automation experience to join our team working on a social news aggregation platform.
Responsibilities:
* Automate and maintain test suites for different features on Android mobile app. Increase automation coverage and fix tests to maintain pass rate.
* Monitor daily and weekly test execution reports. Raise issues when they're found.
* Support weekly release validations.
* Manual testing for not automated scenarios.
* Work closely with the product/development team to analyze upcoming features or changes in existing ones. Make test plans and document test cases in a Test Management Tool. Support them in specific testing requests.
* Maintain and enhance internal test framework built from native mobile test framework (UIAutomator/Espresso).
Mandatory requirements:
* Knowledge of mobile testing general concepts.
* Programming language: Kotlin.
* Test framework: UIAutomator, Espresso.
* IDE: Android Studio.
* Cloud testing: BrowserStack.
* Agile methodologies (SCRUM).
* Test Case Management tools.
* CI/CD: Bitrise.
* GIT.
* Jira.
* Advanced-Intermediate English, oral & written (B2+)
Optional requirements:
* Scripting skills.
