Big Moxi Games is looking for a to help us build standout games and experiences on Fortnite Creative. You’ll work alongside a small, focused team of designers, artists, and engineers to bring new ideas to life quickly - and iterate based on player feedback. We're looking for someone who combines strong technical skills with game design instincts and who has shipped at least one significant solo or lead UEFN project.
This is a hands‑on role, ideal for creators who have a strong sense of ownership and want to build polished, high‑impact UGC games on a top platform.
Responsabilities:
Build and iterate on games using UEFN, from prototyping to polished release
Design and create compelling levels, mechanics, and systems
Collaborate with the team to integrate art, audio, and gameplay systems
Optimize experiences for performance, fun, and replayability
Stay plugged into trends in the Fortnite Creative ecosystem to identify opportunities
Requirements:
1+ shipped UEFN projects with clear ownership (solo projects or lead role preferred)
Proficiency with UEFN
Strong understanding of moment‑to‑moment gameplay design and level flow
Experience working collaboratively in small, multidisciplinary teams
Able to scope realistically, move fast, and self‑manage
Ability to create layouts, game flows and design documentation
A portfolio that includes at least one standout Fortnite Creative map
Passion for games, creativity, and building in public
Differentials:
Experience balancing game economies or progression systems
Familiarity with live content updates, event systems, and analytics tools
Experience with other UGC platforms (e.g., Roblox Studio, Minecraft, Core)
Experience using analytics tools or playtesting to refine games
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Verse, Blueprints, Lua, or Python
Active in the Fortnite Creative or broader UGC dev community
Avid gamer, especially Fortnite.
