Mobile App Rebuild Lead
We are looking for a Senior React Native Engineer to lead the rebuild of our mobile app. The ideal candidate will have experience in architecting and rebuilding mobile apps from scratch using React Native.
The Role
This is a challenging opportunity to take ownership of a high-performance, consumer-grade mobile app experience comparable to Chime, Robinhood, or Coinbase. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of four core tabs: Home, Discover, Workspace, and Cofounder (AI chat). They will also be responsible for implementing native UI components, gesture systems, animations, and smooth navigation. Additionally, they will build high-performance chat interfaces for AI interactions and integrate with our backend (Node/TS) and web tools.
Key Responsibilities
* Architect and rebuild the mobile app from scratch using React Native
* Lead the development of four core tabs: Home, Discover, Workspace, and Cofounder (AI chat)
* Implement native UI components, gesture systems, animations, and smooth navigation
* Build high-performance chat interfaces for AI interactions
* Integrate with the backend (Node/TS) and web tools
* Build token-secure WebView bridges for launching web features inside the native shell
* Take ownership of performance, architecture, and long-term maintainability
* Collaborate with product and design teams to move quickly and iterate
* Ship new features weekly on a fast-moving roadmap
* Help uplevel the engineering team and establish mobile best practices
