We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Surgical Equipment Specialists (SES) to join our dynamic sales team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting, demonstrating, and selling our cutting-edge Sophi Phaco machines to healthcare facilities. They will also promote a full range of related consumable and disposable products. This position requires a deep understanding of cataract procedures and the operating room environment and a proven track record in medical equipment sales.Your key responsibilities will be:Formal trainingSuccessfully complete a formal training and certification program in Switzerland.Develop a comprehensive understanding of our surgical equipment portfolio.Relationship BuildingBuild strong relationships with key decision makers in healthcare facilities.Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.Customer EducationEducate customers on the features and benefits of the Sophi range of machines.Quoting and proposal generationWork with internal stakeholders to prepare quotations and offerings to customers.Facilitate an appropriate pricing strategy for multi-product offerings.Pre-salesIdentify cross-selling opportunities from the wider Rayner portfolio.Facilitate and lead wetlabs, on site demonstrations.Clinical evaluationDemonstrate the Sophi range in the O.R. during live surgery, programming the devices in response to surgeon preference.Onboard the O.R. team over a period of several months.After SalesProvide first line technical support to HCPs, facilities, and colleagues.Provide post-market surveillance to support MDR.Sales reportingMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, including customer interactions, sales calls, and pipeline management.Attend conferences and trade showsRepresent the company at local and international trade shows where needed.CompetenciesCore and role specific competenciesProven track record in surgical equipment sales.Proven track record in ophthalmology sales.Strong understanding of cataract surgery.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience of first line technical service.Willingness to travel and spend several weeks demonstrating the Sophi range in the O.R.Qualifications/ Training/ExperienceEssentialBachelor’s degree in engineering, business or marketing.
