The Game Developer plays an important role in supporting the development and evolution of interactive game systems. This position focuses on contributing to gameplay, UI, and technical systems while maintaining performance, stability, and scalability across different projects and technologies.
Working within collaborative environments such as co-development (co-dev), full development, and porting, the Game Developer helps solve technical challenges and supports the delivery of high-quality experiences for players and clients. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain gameplay, UI, and supporting game systems with a focus on efficiency and maintainability.
Collaborate with Game Designers, Artists, and UX Designers to translate design requirements into technical solutions.
Contribute to technical discussions, proposing improvements to systems and workflows.
Ensure code quality through clear structure, documentation, and adherence to best practices.
Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing game systems.
Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing activities, supporting team growth.
Technical Requirements
Solid programming knowledge in Python and/or C++.
Experience working with software development concepts such as version control, debugging, and optimization.
Ability to independently complete assigned tasks with attention to quality and deadlines.
Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
Advanced English, with the ability to communicate clearly in technical and collaborative contexts.
Nice to Have
Experience with ActionScript 3 and Flash.
Familiarity with Perforce.
Experience with game engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or proprietary engines.
Exposure to porting projects or working in co-development environments.
Basic understanding of performance optimization and game architecture concepts.
