As a senior full-stack developer, you will be responsible for designing and building software while ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our SQL databases. You will work closely with product and engineering leadership to deliver high-quality systems that meet our business needs.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in C#/.NET software development and strong SQL Server/Azure SQL expertise. They will also have expert-level proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and .NET Framework, as well as experience with Microsoft Azure services, including App Services/Functions/Storage.
Additional responsibilities include managing database cost management in Azure, ensuring data integrity and security, and participating in architectural discussions to influence technical direction across the stack. The successful candidate will also be able to design and develop enterprise-grade applications/services using C#/NET, build application features interacting deeply with the database, and troubleshoot complex issues across application/database/infrastructure layers.

* Design and optimize database schemas, indexes, queries, and stored procedures for high-performance application workloads.
* Own database performance tuning, query optimization, capacity planning, and cost management in Azure.
* Manage availability, backup, restore, disaster recovery, and survivability strategies in Azure SQL.
* Monitor and proactively address performance bottlenecks, deadlocks, blocking, and resource contention.
* Ensure data integrity, security, and operational excellence throughout the application lifecycle.
