Tech Lead Delphi Developer (Delphi, Oracle PL/SQL) -- Remote (Brazil)
Location: Remote – Brazil (must be located in Brazil)
Mandatory: English Fluency, Team Leadership, Delphi, Oracle and Agile/Scrum.
Job Description
In the role, you will work with a dedicated, enthusiastic team developing enhancements to a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and supporting the LIMS' multiple customers.

Responsibilities
* Lead Development teams in a local line management capacity reporting to the Software Engineering Manager in Europe
* Set targets and mentor the team locally
* Ensure quality in team development
* Participate in sprint planning and sprint retrospective meetings
* Assign and deliver development tasks requested during sprint planning
* Estimate the complexity and the workload
* Choose the most appropriate technical solution to meet the user requirements
* Design, develop and deploy changes to the LIMS according to the customers’ and business users’ requirements
* Support the LIMS in collaboration with other team members
* Work together with other team members (Engineers/QA) to ensure high quality of delivered solutions
* Ensure good practices and high quality standards are implemented and followed
Experience
* Experience as a Tech Lead in a local line management capacity
* 4+ years of experience developing solutions using Embarcadero Delphi 2006 or later (Delphi 12 preferable)
* Experience with using Delphi to develop Windows Services and/or UI Forms would be a bonus
* 7+ years for senior roles with Oracle PL/SQL
* Strong working knowledge on server-side development with Delphi and/or Oracle PL/SQL
* Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
* Good understanding of relational databases (Oracle 9i, 11c or later)
* Strong knowledge of Agile software development practices, particularly Scrum and/or Kanban
* Clear experience in collaboration with Business Analysts and Software Architect(s)
* Some experience in test driven development and test automation
* Comfortable in unit testing and mocking with Delphi
* Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or master's degree in computer Science or similar
