Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for motivated technologists who possess a unique balance of technical depth, business knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills. You will partner with customers and several AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems. As a trusted customer advocate, the solutions architect will help organizations understand best practices around cloud-based solutions and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. You will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build mindshare and broad use of AWS within organizations ranging from new start-ups to large enterprise customers. Connecting technology with measurable business value is critical to this role.

Key job responsibilities include:
1. Building a solid knowledge foundation of AWS cloud services and the cloud ecosystem.
2. Educating customers of all sizes about AWS's value proposition.
3. Assisting with training sessions for current and prospective AWS users.
4. Collaborating with experienced solutions architects to share best practices within the AWS community.
5. Serving as a technical liaison among customers, engineering teams, and support.
Qualifications include:
* Experience with programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C++.
* Experience with networking fundamentals, security, storage, databases (relational or NoSQL), and operating systems (Unix, Linux, Windows).
* Experience implementing cloud-based solutions.
* Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting.
* Knowledge in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
* Working knowledge of AWS services like EC2, EBS, and S3, and experience architecting solutions on AWS.
* Solution-selling methodologies experience.
* AWS Cloud Practitioner and AWS Solutions Architect Associate certifications are preferred; other cloud certifications are also welcome.
