It includes coordinating sales and commercial activities, ensuring compliance with policies, and managing all sales & commercial activities to meet revenue, sales, and profit targets in collaboration with the country commercial teams.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop short, medium, and long-term sales strategies for the sub-region.Advise on policies related to pricing, yield, contract negotiations, pipeline development, and sales targets.Monitor sales and manage the new business pipeline using appropriate systems.Contribute to sales development, customer retention, advertising, and pricing strategies.Propose and implement new sales plans to meet organizational sales and profitability goals.Oversee business development, bid preparations, proposals, and agreements.Manage daily activities of the Commercial Team aligned with overall sales strategies.Prepare forecasts and budgets, monitor performance, and adjust strategies as needed.Coach teams on pricing, negotiation, customer service, and sales techniques.Manage tender processes and coordinate with finance, operations, and HR.Ensure profitability of new bids and share insights with relevant departments.Develop sales plans for countries and airline customers in line with regional and divisional goals.Key Performance IndicatorsYield ImprovementRevenue per turnaroundProfitable GrowthDSOIndividual KPIsQualifications and CompetenciesCustomer centricityBusiness acumen with strategic and interpersonal skillsExperience in Airport Ground Handling ServicesCommercial skills, networking, and customer dealingsEffective communication and relationship-building skillsKey Account Management experienceFluent in English; Spanish is a plusLeadership in multicultural environmentsProven results and negotiation skillsIndustry knowledgeAbility to travel and stay overnight as requiredAttention to detailSwissport values diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity.
