Whatyou’llachieve
As a Logging and Monitoring EngineerSenior Advisoryou will play a key role inmaintainingand evolving Dell’slogging ingestion andinfrastructure.You’lllead efforts to ensure stability, scalability, and security across critical tools and systems, while driving improvements that support enterprise-wide threat detection and response. You will alsobe responsible foronboarding data to SIEM too,troubleshooting logging issues,maintainingthe logging infrastructure, andproviding operational support to enable enterprise-wide threat detection and response.
You will:
Work on cybersecurity problems that have medium to high complexity, with emphasis on security operations.
Work across the various global IT teams and business units and coordinate resources to effectively perform maintenance and respond to tasks.
Present incident response reports and lessons learned to management.
Identifyand recommend process improvements.
Communicate and build effective relationships with people at all levels.
Attend internal and vendor training as and whenrequired.
Communicates and educate information security risks to end-users.
Onboard data to Splunk, troubleshoot logging issues,maintainlogging infrastructure, and provide operational support to ensure consistent and reliable monitoring capabilities
Ensure all changes follow established management protocols, including thorough testing, stakeholder sign-off, and post-deployment monitoring.

Essential Requirements
Solid experience deploying and managing enterprise security tools (e.g., Splunk, Cribl, Elastic, NetWitness, Corelight).
Strong system administration skills in Windows and Linux, including proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
Hands‑on expertise with logging technologies and Splunk administration, including data onboarding and troubleshooting.
Practical experience with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Ansible), along with a strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL).
Demonstrated ability to work in structured security environments, including documentation, project coordination, and use of infrastructure monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, Splunk).
Desirable Requirements
Academic background in IT, Cybersecurity, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience, plus relevant security certifications (ISC2, SANS, etc.)
Strong cybersecurity knowledge with proven experience in SIEM tools, security automation, and the ability to collaborate globally and mentor team members
