Description
We are looking for an experienced Service Technician for our residential apartment community located in Mundelein, IL. In this position, you will have the overall responsibility of maintaining the apartment homes, common areas and grounds, timely unit turns and ensuring that the needs of our residents are met by providing superior customer care. Pay commensurate with experience $23/hr. to $25/hr. + quarterly bonus

Qualifications and Expectations
Prior multifamily housing experience preferred
3 years prior maintenance experience in a fast-paced residential community
Knowledge of various maintenance functions including plumbing, pools, HVAC, appliance repair and installation, electrical, painting, caulking, snow removal, life safety and cleanliness
Ability to perform unit turn work timely to meet deadlines and with a great eye for detail
Ability to resolve work orders efficiently and with care
Walk the property regularly to ensure safety and cleanliness
Availability to respond to emergency calls 24/7, including weekends and holidays
Provide exceptional customer service to our residents and guests
Ability to communicate clearly with proficiency in English
Assist at other properties from time to time
Learn and comply with industry legal requirements, including federal and local fair housing
Work both individually and on a team to maximize occupancy and achieve property goals
Observe all health and safety guidelines
Must have valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Community Manager and Service Manager
