Introduction:
We are seeking a Senior Advanced Analyst to join our global Advanced Analytics team. In this role, you’ll lead the design and execution of advanced analytical solutions that inform strategic decision-making for our clients. You’ll leverage your deep technical expertise and market research experience to drive innovation, mentor junior analysts, and deliver impactful, data-driven recommendations.

Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and implementation of advanced analytical frameworks to address complex business challenges across a variety of industries.
* Partner with internal teams and clients to translate business objectives into analytical solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
* Design, build, and maintain practical analytics-facing AI-enabled solutions such as analytical agents, automated insights generation, or decision support tools using large language models or similar technologies.
* Evaluate where AI can responsibly augment analytical work, including data preparation, model development, quality checks, insight synthesis, and delivery, while maintaining methodological rigor.
* Partner with engineering, analytics, or product teams to operationalize AI-driven analytics in repeatable and scalable ways.
* Deliver high-impact storytelling and visualization, distilling complex analyses into clear narratives that influence senior stakeholders.
* Act as a trusted consultant, providing analytic guidance and thought leadership on market research methodologies, data interpretation, and advanced modeling.
* Mentor and support junior analysts, reviewing outputs, sharing best practices, and fostering a culture of learning and quality.
* Champion automation, standardization, and innovation, identifying opportunities to optimize workflows and analytical efficiency.
* Stay current on emerging tools, data science techniques, and market trends to continuously enhance Toluna’s analytics capabilities.
Your profile:
* 5+ years of professional experience in data analytics, advanced analytics, or market research roles.
* Bachelor’s or master's degree in data science, statistics, economics, computer science, or a related field.
* Advanced proficiency in Python, R, SQL, SPSS and/or Sawtooth
* Strong command of statistical modeling, segmentation, predictive analytics, and experimental design.
* Proven ability to lead analytical projects from scoping to delivery, including stakeholder management and quality assurance.
* Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to translate complex data findings into business implications.
* Hands-on experience applying AI or machine learning in real-world analytics contexts, beyond academic or purely experimental work.
* Familiarity with large language models and their practical use in analytics workflows, such as building or supervising AI agents, prompt-driven analysis, or automated insight generation.
* Strong judgment around model quality, bias, explainability, and appropriate use of AI in client-facing analytical work.
* Ability to clearly explain AI-driven approaches and limitations to non-technical stakeholders in plain business language.
* Experience mentoring or leading junior analysts or cross-functional workstreams.
* Must be fluent in English, with additional languages being a plus.
