About The OpportunityWe are looking for a highly experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer to work on reverse supply chain processes, including trade-ins, recycling, repairs, and returns. The role involves maintaining and enhancing an existing Rails 6/7 application focused on electronic recyclables, covering inventory, scheduling, transportation, management, and processing.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain web applications and components using Ruby on Rails.Build and integrate APIs with 3rd party companies and internal applications.Collaborate with internal partners and external vendors to deliver scalable solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve performance, response time, and capacity issues.Maintain high-quality documentation and ensure data integrity across systems.Perform both front-end (GUI) and back-end development tasks.Required QualificationsStrong experience with Ruby on Rails developmentStrong expertise in API design and integration (JSON, ProtoBuf, REST, RPC, XML, etc).Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, JQuery).Experience with Continuous Integration tools (CircleCI, Jenkins).Familiarity with testing frameworks (RSpec, MiniTest).Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical training.Advanced English.Nice To Have SkillsExperience with Go development.AWS knowledge and hands-on cloud experience.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to optimize performance and scalability.Avenue Code reinforces its commitment to privacy and to all the principles guaranteed by the most accurate global data protection laws, such as GDPR, LGPD, CCPA and CPRA.
