This role will focus on:

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the commercial strategy, driving sales performance, and providing technical support across the assigned region/market. This role ensures delivery of revenue, margin, and profitability targets while developing a high‑performing team and strengthening customer relationships. The Sales Manager also oversees representatives, distributors, and direct staff, ensuring excellence in service and sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Leadership & Market Development

* Lead sales execution in the region, ensuring achievement of revenue, margin, and profitability targets.
* Develop and implement short-, medium-, and long‑term strategies to increase market share and expand our customer base.
* Identify new business opportunities and applications within existing accounts.
* Monitor sales performance, pipelines, and key opportunities, ensuring consistent follow‑up and accurate forecasting.
* Map competitive activity and develop strategies to minimize its impact.

Customer Engagement & Technical Support

* Build strong customer relationships through regular visits and solution‑focused discussions.
* Provide technical and commercial support tailored to customer needs.
* Collaborate with global factories to define the best solution for complex projects.
* Deliver technical presentations and advanced customer training.

Team Leadership & Capability Building

* Lead, coach, and inspire the team to build a high‑performance culture.
* Select, develop, and manage sales representatives, distributors, and internal team members.
* Facilitate regular team meetings to ensure alignment on strategy and performance.
* Train the team and channel partners on product applications and commercial effectiveness.
* Identify and prepare a succession pipeline within the team.

Operational Excellence

* Manage regional performance and ensure accurate weekly forecasting and annual business planning.
* Participate in management discussions, providing analysis and insights.
* Ensure compliance with global ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
* Stay current with the company's global learning platforms and market/industry developments.
* Support post‑sales activities, including performance improvement recommendations and issue resolution.
* Partner with Finance to support billing and receivables recovery.
* Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14000, and EHS procedures.

Internal & External Relationships

Internal: All functional areas across WMFTS

External: Customers, suppliers, distributors, and Group manufacturing sites

What You Need to Succeed

Experience & Education

* Strong experience in the São Paulo market.
* Background in food & beverage, water & wastewater, chemical, or general industrial sectors.
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proven experience managing and developing commercial teams.
* Strong track record of exceeding sales targets.

Technical & Business Skills

* Strong negotiation and closing capabilities.
* Strategic mindset with a hands‑on execution approach.
* Experience with KPIs, performance management, and commercial dashboards.
* Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales management tools.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Intermediate to advanced English.
