The platforms enable teams to efficiently create and operate features with consistent design and performance, combining into high-quality overall experiences. The Technical Product Manager leads defining outcomes, initiatives, and processes that support the internal developer community, end user experience, and business priorities. They champion adoption of platform capabilities. They seek alignment and synergy between platforms. They must have sufficient knowledge of relevant technologies to define meaningful acceptance criteria and to understand how technical decisions affect experience outcomes.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand platform users’ and stakeholders’ needs. Determine how to assess platforms’ability to meet those needs and establish ongoing assessment. Represent those needs inproduct planning and governance processes.In partnership with platform engineering leaders, lead in defining desired outcomes andstrategy, then initiatives and processes to achieve those outcomes.In partnership with platform engineering leaders, create and maintain platform teamroadmaps. Evaluate potential work’s value and priority. Report progress and status tostakeholders.
