Sales Lead, Brazil Market | mybest

mybest is one of Japan's largest product comparison platforms.

Since 2017, we have expanded across eight markets.

We are looking for a business builder focused on Brazil to accelerate our growth.


Role Overview

You will work directly with the mybest Brazil Country Manager to successfully launch the sales unit.

Your responsibilities include analyzing the market, building approach lists, executing outreach to potential clients, and holding meetings with brands and agencies.

What You'll Do

* Approach: Execute initial outreach to potential clients. Maximizing the number of approaches is key to success in this role.
* Meeting: Conduct meetings with brands and agencies. Closing deals depends heavily on the quality of these meetings.
* End-to-end project management: Design and implement new strategies based on research into local market needs.
* Operation optimization: Develop workflows and reporting systems; improve processes to boost productivity and reduce costs.

Team

One Japanese Country Manager working in Japan time, and one Brazilian supervisor working in local São Paulo time.


Must-Have

* 3 or more years of experience in sales.
* Professional working proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese for sales purposes.
* Professional-level English or Japanese for communicating with the Japanese Country Manager (Strong writing skills are not required, as long as verbal communication is sufficient)


Nice-to-Have

* Demonstrated knowledge of Brazil's advertising agency landscape and ad sales.
* Background in media, digital marketing, or agencies.
* Basic knowledge of web marketing and social media operations.
* Practical PC skills; we use Google Workspace, Slack, and Chatwork.


What We're Looking For

A future sales leader with the drive to build and grow a sales business from the ground up.


Salary

7,500 BRL ~ 12,000 BRL per month, plus 5% commission on sales

*Salary is determined based on experience.

*A 3-month trial period applies to this position.

*All travel expenses will be covered by the company.


Location and Work Style

Fully remote


* You will have a 30 to 45-minute check-in with the Country Manager every other day from 19:15 to 20:00 São Paulo time.
* Outside of that, you have flexibility in managing your own schedule.


*We value the number of client conversations and closed deals over hours worked.

That said, we expect approximately 40 hours of work per week.

*Please note that side employment is not permitted for this position, as we ask for your full focus and commitment.


Career Growth

This position begins with a 3-month trial period during which we evaluate your effort and contributions.

Following the trial, the role transitions to an outsourcing contract.

We aim to find the right person to grow into a leadership role within the sales division, with a team to manage.
