We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team.
About the Role
This role is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining robust automation frameworks and tools. You will be essential in ensuring the quality and reliability of our embedded systems.
Main Responsibilities
* Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks for embedded firmware validation.
* Create and execute test plans and test cases for embedded systems, including unit, integration, system and regression testing.
* Work closely with firmware developers to understand system architecture and define test strategies.
* Develop scripts and tools to automate testing on hardware platforms (e.g., using Python, shell scripting etc).
* Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues.
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to test strategy and planning.
* Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines for embedded firmware.
* Maintain test environments, including hardware test benches and simulators.
Key Qualifications
* Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools.
* Experience in working with firmware developers to define test strategies.
* Strong understanding of system architecture and embedded systems.
* Ability to analyze test results and identify root causes of failures.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
