Malware Researcher
This is an excellent opportunity to join our team as a Malware Researcher. As a member of our research group, you will be responsible for supporting various projects, developing processes, and defining priorities. You will also need to deliver material and share it with the right teams.
The ideal candidate should have a strong desire to learn on their own and share their research with teammates. They should also have interest in malware analysis and security research.
In this role, you will analyze malicious functionality in Windows x86/x64, MSIL, mobile threats, and web-related malware. You will also keep current with the latest malware threats affecting our customers.
Other responsibilities include communicating with clients about adding detections, participating in the development of recommended practices and standards, and assuming responsibility for accomplishing group goals.
You will suggest ideas to be implemented in company products, prototype development, and imagine and develop prototypes or new detection technologies. You will also create content, analyzing and describing malicious programs (malware), threat intelligence reports, and documentation on various topics.
Presentation skills are essential in this role, as you will present about IT security to wide audiences (customers, internal sales, etc.). You will monitor, analyze, and understand malware trends at local, regional, and global levels.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required. Knowledge of x86/x64 Intel Assembly, WinAPI, IDA Disassembler, HIEW, OllyDbg, Windbg, and hexadecimal editors is necessary. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C#, C, C++ is also required.
