Industrial Director/Plant Director – Leading Global Tier-1 Automotive Systems Supplier Greater Campinas

About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable operations/industrial executive to assume the role of Industrial Director, leading a complex Tier-1 auto parts manufacturing site through a structured operational turnaround and long-term performance transformation.
This is an opportunity for an experienced Plant Manager, Senior Industrial Manager, or Industrial/Operations Director ready to step into a broader, strategic leadership role in a high-performance, global environment.
The context involves operational transformation, focusing on stabilizing processes, developing and strengthening teams, improving KPIs, and elevating manufacturing discipline.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all plant operations across Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, HSE, Supply Chain, HR, and CI.
Conduct a holistic diagnostic of operational gaps and drive a structured operational recovery plan.
Implement initiatives focused on process stability, cost efficiency, scrap/yield improvement, reliability, and labor productivity.
Build and reinforce leadership capabilities across the plant, promoting a culture of accountability, rigor, and continuous improvement.
Drive Lean, TPM, and other operational excellence methodologies with rigor and sustainability.
Ensure compliance with global standards in Quality, Safety, Governance, and ESG.
Manage stakeholder interactions with customers, suppliers, corporate functions, and global engineering teams.
Oversee KPIs, budgets, capex initiatives, and customer deliverables.
Mandatory Qualifications & Experience
Strong background in Tier-1 auto parts manufacturing (mandatory).
Experience in operational turnaround or performance recovery (e.g., process variability, quality issues, productivity challenges, organizational capability gaps).
Proven leadership of large teams in high-complexity, fast-paced industrial environments.
Solid foundation in Lean, CI, TPM, or equivalent methodologies.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (required).
Advanced/Fluent English.
